Part of the Boston College Carroll School of Management, the Center
publishes specialist work/life publications.
Electronic
Clearing House Children, Youth and Family
From the University of Minnesota. Information on children, family
and work/family issues. Contains links to newsgroups.
Families
and Work Institute
A non-profit organisation that publishes the National Study of the
Changing Workforce, a five-yearly survey of American workers. It
also provides consultancy on the design and implementation of work-life
solutions. They also and work with employers we work with employers,
states and communities on issues related to male involvement in
the lives of children.

Contains business case information, case studies and the Work/Life
Continuum - a tool for implementing work/life balance policies.

Life Balance Centre
A virtual resource that aims to raise awareness and promote discussion
of work life balance issues, promote and disseminate best practice
in achieving work life balance and conduct research into working
practices and issues. In partnership with Keele University it is
currently undertaking research

A global clearinghouse for work/life professionals. Produces monthly
work/life news and trend digests. Subscribers have access to the
searchable ten year archive of global work/life news. Includes lots
of free information too including a free Tip of the Month and a
survey
of 153 companies of evaluated work/life programmes.
DTI
Work-Life Balance Campaign
The Government's Work-Life Balance was originally set up in 2000
by the
DfEE. Includes the report "Changing Patterns in a Changing
World", business
case information, case Studies and information about the Employer
of the
Year Award.

EAPA
The professional body for employee assistance
programmes in the UK. Includes
information about EAPs, EAPA publications and a list of it's members.
International
Workplace Studies Programme
Alternative offices and integrated workplace strategies are
the focus on this website. The programme studies work processes,
physical design, information technology and organisational culture
to enable a better understanding of how new workplace strategies
can benefit organisations.
