Kids' Club Network

A national campaigning charity that promotes and supports childcare and an acknowledged authority in the out of school field. Parents At Work

PARENTS AT WORK is a campaigning charity which, uniquely, provides information and support to working parents, and works with employers on their work-life balance policy and practice. It has both parent and
corporate members, as well as offering the Balance at Work Consultancy. It holds best practice seminars and training workshops around the country, and runs the Employer of the Year Awards and the Best Boss competition. The Waving not drowning project provides advice, a network and a newsletter for the parents of disabled children, and the Low Income Families Helpline provides free legal advice. Regularly updated factsheets for parents and an extensive employers' case studies database are freely available on their website.

TUC

The TUC is Britain' s largest voluntary organisation, in the forefront of pressure for social change. It campaigns for fairness at work, negotiates in Europe and at home builds links with political parties, business and the community. The TUC has campaigned for equal rights for part-time workers and more recently has led a European project 'The Time of Our Lives' which aimed to link better provision of services for customers with improved choice and control over working hours for employees. It provides useful publications on equal rights issues and deals with a wide range of equality issues.
